A Random Question

Who the fuck is bonnie_stinson? I doubt a bot, but why someone who posts entirely in Russian would read the journal of a foul-mouthed Anglophone cunt like me is beyond me.

I dunno, but she added me, too. And bruceb, it appears. Looks like she joined aeoncontinuum and another I'm on, uru_community

I suspect shenanigans.

Likewise on the shenanigans. I do wonder what's going to happen, though.

Probably a scam, but I don't see the shape of it yet.

does she have 4 friended postings, one (first) looking like short fiction, one (short) a sort of seeing someone thing, and the most recent some sort of break up letter looking thing?

5 posts, all flocked. Subjects follow:

7th-Jul-2008 05:54 pm - [protected post] Виновны
6th-Jul-2008 11:40 pm - [protected post] Флешмоб
4th-Jul-2008 02:28 am - [protected post] Да-да, я вкурсе
3rd-Jul-2008 02:49 pm - [protected post] Вагон проводника
2nd-Jul-2008 05:41 pm - [protected post] Покинуть город

None have any comments.

I wish I spoke Russian, I really do.

ETA: Babelfish handles very basic Russian to English translation, giving the subjects as (in order)

They are guilty
[Fleshmob]
Dada, I to [vkurse]
The railroad car of conductor
to leave the city

Square brackets indicates Romanization of untranslatable words. It's either a combination of posts from other journals or possibly an actual human. I'm leaving that as an outside possibility, though.

Caught a careless one...
kristefindlay friended me, and the following was (probably unintentionally) visible to me (after punting it through Google translate):

Journal title:Do you have ears to the noodles are not [obsohla].

Post subject: Fleshmob

There are several commands, which are numbered. The essence fleshmob-games is simple: you post to his diary describing the list of commands, and your friends give you command in the comments.

Teams simple:

1. Friend me
2. Friend user xxxxxxx
3. Add interest xxxxxxxxx
3. Remove interest xxxxxxxxx
6. Remove from friends list user xxxxxxxx
7. Write me to comment to post xxxxxxxx

Let's play, will be fun to share friends, [naostavlyat] comments from strangers, [povypolnyat] team of other people, and just fun, See how people are surprised! [Prezde] than leave the team in the comments, publish the text of the post at the magazine that others, too, can play!

[Poyekhali]!

***

Don't know if fleshmob is the same as or a variant of flashmob in Russian. Very possibly automated, but while it seems bot-like, it looks to be just taking the piss rather than actively malevolent.
