Lazyweb: Gmail's Doom?

Last night, gmail stopped working for me. I can click on messages and get the "Loading" box, but then the message marks itself as read without me ever seeing the contents. I also get a "Warning: Unresponsive script" when I try to open any mail that's already marked as read.

This happens in Firefox 2.0.0.9 only. [EDIT: It's working fine in Safari and Seamonkey both, so it's just this version of Firefox] It's not the "new" gmail UI, as I haven't been switched to it yet. I've tried the workaround for that already, and it doesn't work. I've disabled all extensions, and I'm still getting nowhere.

I suppose I can use Safari for now, but it's bloody annoying. Anyone have any ideas what's going on?

Basic mode does indeed still work, as do the two other browsers. And it's only affecting the macbook in OS X. It's been playing up for about a day now. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if it starts working.
