WW is now no doubt going to be innundated with freelancers and wannabe freelancers wanting to write for whatever the new WoD is going to be. I am not going to be one of them. I want to write for the games that I know. How do I know if I want to write for games which may exist in a couple of years? I don't. The reason I wanted to write for Werewolf and Mage is because I knew the games and honestly believed that I had ideas that could work within the foundation and themes of those games. Whatever the new games are, it's going to take 6 months to decide if a) I like them and b) how much can be done with them, and therefore c) whether I think I can add to the game by writing for it. By the time those 6 months are up, I may as well not bother as WW will be drowning in a sluchpile of freelancer wannabes that are sending in almost random crap in order to try to get published.
So no, I'm not too happy. I'm not crushed or angry or any of that stupid hysterical shit that people are going through. But I can hardly say that this is a change that I like. But I am worn out from headbanging and right now want to collapse and die.
