I intended to put a Lulu order in late last year. Never did, due to resourcing imbalances. I instead put it in last weekend.

My copy of the MSG™ Executive Edition showed up today. I started reading it on the bus home and just finished it now. I've had a PDF copy for a while, but there's just something about holding the book in my hands that makes me read every word and laugh at every barbed punchline like it's new. As an RPG it's distinctly an oddity: a round-robin setup with a distinct winner and a blind-bidding mechanic. And bonuses from digging out celeb-trash magazine headlines and making them relevant.

Wood, Becky, and Benjamin deserve your money. You deserve this game. It's good for the Brand, and the Market's practically begging you to buy. Everything that's good for the Brand and the Market is good for you. Hadn't you noticed?

Somehow, I knew you'd be a fan of anything involving The Market. ;)

So tell me, is this a board game? A roleplaying game? Is it a comedy? I couldn't figure that out after reading the summary on the web page.

A roleplaying game. Not a board game.

It's also a very, very black satire on the state of corporate life.

Buy it and discover all the things you're missing.
